Kelley and Jorge met during the height of the 2020 pandemic. Needless to say, things went well! Wanting to make the most of these times, they started traveling a lot and eventually tried to find wedding spots, ultimately landing back in Kelley's home town of La Crosse.
It's a small, quiet town along the Mississippi River and surrounded by bluffs. Downtown is nearby and very walkable with lots of drinking & dining spots.
If you're road-tripping from TX, it's a 15 hour drive (toll road recommended). If you are flying in directly to La Crosse, we suggest you take a flight with a layover of at least 45 minutes due to the size of Chicago O'Hare, as you will be switching terminals from H or G (Remember running to the gate in Home Alone?)
We strongly suggest you get a Bloody Mary with a Spotted Cow chaser or a Wisconsin Old Fashioned as soon as you get in!
Attire will range from formal to semi-formal. Think suit jacket instead of a tuxedo for the wedding party and slacks with a button-up or sport coat for guests. But formal is always appreciated! Weather is expected to be in the high 60s and low 50s week of the event.
Getting There
If you will be flying into La Crosse Airport (LSE), note this is a regional airport and only serves American Airlines arrivals 3 times daily. You will layover at Chicago (ORD).
Rochester (RST) is 1 hour away and has similar stipulations, but does serve Delta.
The largest major airports with direct & lower fare flights are Minneapolis (MSP) and Madison (MSN). Each is a 2 hour drive from La Crosse.
Please let us know if you need a lift from the airport!
The Hatchery is inside Riverside Park at the North end. Parking is free along the street leading to the entrance as well as on your first right turn before arriving to the venue.

Hotels are in nearby walking distance. The Hatchery has select rooms that will be made available to the wedding party.
If you are looking to AirBnB or alternative sites, we suggest the neighboring cities of Onalaska and La Crescent 15 minutes away.

We've been pretty lucky in life. We are appreciative of our good fortune and the amazing people in our lives that have made us who we are.
